The Chisinau - Palanca cycling route is an adventure that stretches for 226 km, perfect for nature and cycling lovers. You can explore Moldova on two wheels, enjoying varied landscapes and special tourist attractions, such as a variety of local wineries. You have the option to complete the route with your own bicycle or you can rent a bicycle for long routes right from Chisinau.

Tour details:
- The route starts in Chisinau, where you will start a cycling trip in the direction of Puhoi village. On the way south, you will have the opportunity to visit the "Village Museum" on the way out of the city of Chisinau, the ATU Winery and, later, the Asconi Winery in the same village, where you can taste wines and have a rustic experience in the nearby cottages.
- On the next sequence of the route, Puhoi - Bulboaca, another unmissable stop is Mimi Castle, a wine destination with impressive history and architecture. Then you can visit Terasele Hagimus Winery, located nearby or, for a different experience, you can stop at the Monastery of Saints Marta and Maria.
- Next, on the way to the village of Cioburciu, you can organize a stop at the Gogu Winery or explore the House Museum of the famous writer Alexei Mateevici, where you will discover exhibits that illustrate his literary and cultural contributions. Also on this part of the route, you can choose to visit the Turceasca Garden Landscape Reserve and the Tihon's Mill Monument.
- After passing Cioburciu, you can head to the Meșter Faur Guesthouse for a relaxing break, and later visit the Purcari winery for premium wines and enchanting scenery or stop at Vatra Dornei for local cuisine and relaxation. But if you want to get lost in nature, discover wild fauna and some fascinating cycling routes, we recommend a visit to the "Codrii" Nature Reserve.
- The trail ends in Palanca, where you can explore local attractions and relax after an adventurous trail. Here you have a choice of attractions such as: the Museum of History and Ethnography in Crocmaz, the Mlastina Togai Reserve and the La Bunici Museum. And to end the wine tour, you can make a stop or even two at Chateau Purcari and Et Cetera Winery.
