The town where the goats have their own town with a town hall, police department, post office and even a currency.
The idea of a goat town was brought from Ukraine, by Olga Kopylova, and the design and infrastructure were conceived by the architect Serghei Mîrza.
The animals live in freedom, in their own city, with streets, houses, and even have a "city hall", "police station", "post office" and an "art gallery".
Currently, the "Kozy town" is home to 110 goats.
Each of them has a name.
Marcel is the "mayor" of the town - a Boer goat.
It is curious that the "City of Goats" has its own currency, called "kozy coin". “Any product in the city can only be bought with those coins. It's like entering another country and using foreign currency."
The coins can be bought at the currency exchange: a "kozy coin" costs 25 Moldovan lei.
